JuJu Smith-Schuster, Antonio Brown take shots at one another on Twitter

While we await Brown's response - it seems unlikely that he'll just let all that slide - it's worth going over some of the history between the two wide receivers.

The former Steeler took to Twitter Sunday afternoon saying, "Keep your emotions off the internet".

"Emotion: boy fumbled the whole post season in the biggest game of year", Brown wrote on Twitter. Pittsburgh made it all the way to the Saints' 42-yard line with 41 seconds to go. He then shared an old, private message from Smith-Schuster that was sent while the young wide receiver was in college.

Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN in a recent interview that the presence of Smith-Schuster wasn't a factor in Brown's desire to be traded, but rather the need for a new start. All parties involved bickering on the internet.

Obviously, Smith-Schuster has every reason in the world to want to defend himself after seeing some of his responses to Brown's tweets, but once again this shows how the Rams were much better off never making the wideout a potential option for 2019.

Not long afterward, Smith-Schuster - clearly hurt by the attack - lashed out at Brown's "big ego". Brown's double-up left Smith-Schuster little choice but to respond.

But Smith-Schuster got his first taste of it on Sunday and was taken aback by a player in Brown who he said "all I ever did was show that man love".

After Smith-Schuster played in all 16 games a year ago, with 111 catches for 1,426 yards he cemented himself as a fan favorite. That had provoked Brown to criticize Smith-Schuster for brown-nosing because he is still on his rookie contract.

As a result, Brown has fallen under harsh criticism from media and fans alike, and it doesn't seem like he is taking it too well.
