Keith Urban Had 'Come to Terms' With Not Winning ACM Entertainer

While the country crooner picked up his Academy of Country Music Awards for Entertainer of the Year on Sunday (April 7), he made sure to give his sweetest thanks to his wife and their daughters.

Ashley McBryde, who won new female artist of the year, also was memorable: almost in tears, she strummed her guitar and beautifully sang "Girl Goin' Nowhere". Up for Male Artist of the Year are Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Stapleton and Urban. So, at this point, you'd imagine that there's no love lost between them.

"Baby girl, I love you and our girls, Sunday and Faith, who are at home watching right now", Urban added.

In her first performance of the night, Lambert, dressed in a revealing, black jumpsuit, changed the words of her song "Little Red Wagon" from "I live in Oklahoma" to "I got the hell out of Oklahoma".

Musgraves also won album of the year for her latest record, "Golden Hour". Underwood, Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde and McEntire saing onstage. "This Is Us" actress Chrissy Metz, who stars in the new movie "Breakthrough", will perform a song alongside Lauren Alaina, Mickey Guyton, Maddie & Tae and Underwood. Fans have heard the 38-year-old sing before on This Is Us, but she was clearly holding back.

The ACMAs will once again feature "ACM Flashbacks", honoring classic country music hits and the artists whose music continues to influence musicians and fans alike. "If I say something, will you leave, please?" Host Reba McEntire introduced Lambert, the most rewarded artist in ACM awards history, as "32-time ACM award victor, Miranda Lambert".
