Xiaomi's double-folding phone looks better than ever in new video

Samsung has released a video of their device being stress tested. It's unclear how much the foldable device will cost in Canada, but with the US price tag coming in at $1,980 United States dollars, it's likely that the Galaxy Fold will cost approximately $2,655 CAD. Pushing the Galaxy Fold into the Luxury smartphone segment, the fold breaks the barriers of display technology completely.

Interestingly, Samsung says that this folding test takes a week to complete and is "overkill to some". In January this year, the company's vice president Wang Zhang shared a video in which he was seen using the Mi foldable phone.

Well, a new video of the device has appeared on Chinese social media Weibo, and though it doesn't really show us anything new, the phone looks really nice and its UI conforms to the folded state quite fast.

Samsung viewed it as vital to ensuring the durability of device's hinged design and Infinity Flex Display.

Samsung hasn't said too much about the Galaxy Fold since unveiling it, and it's been real limited about letting people try it in person.

So it looks like early Galaxy Fold adopters needn't worry about durability.

Samsung says that Galaxy Fold can outlast 200,000 folds and unfold, which adds up to around five years of use if the phone is used 100 times a day. In the folded position, the support falls nicely between the two display parts.
