The Sussexes get their own court as William and Harry split

It was announced that the Queen has agreed to the creation of a new Household for Harry and Meghan, which will be based out of Buckingham Palace, instead of Kensington Palace.

Since the duchess and Prince Harry first announced they were expecting in October 2018 -Markle has shown up to all of her scheduled royal duties engaging in photo opps and taking pictures including overseas royal tours and a lavish baby shower in New York City.

The couple is also in the process of moving from a cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace, where William and Kate live, to a new home on the royal family's Windsor Estate.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana followed the same rules, with Harry and William adopting the last name Wales before receiving their dukedoms from the queen upon marriage.

It's a reflection of the new role Harry has in the Royal Family as a married man and a soon-to-be father.

Meghan Markle has not commented on the latest reports surrounding her pregnancy, but it sounds like we can let the royal baby countdown begin.

As the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's baby fastly approaches, many royal fans have been waiting for the official announcement Meghan Markle is on maternity leave.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry made an appearance on Thursday at the Veterans' Mental Health Conference at Kings College in London, per the Palace's official Twitter account. "The Royal Highness will appoint new communications staff, who will form part of the Buckingham Palace communications team and report to The Queen's Communications Secretary, Donal McCabe". On Meghan's side, Alvin and Doris could be possibilities thanks to her grandparents, while Ralph and Gertrude are also found in her family tree.

It will coincide with the move of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor before their baby arrives.

Given this rift, and the many questions bound to arise from the household split, it makes sense that Sara Latham was tapped to handle PR for the new Sussex household.

A tweet by ITV News royal editor Chris Ship provides more details about the hire. According to Knauf's LinkedIn profile, he previously held the position of communications secretary to William, Kate and Prince Harry.
