Unai Emery, Arsenal manager, wants 5 new players at club this summer

Unai Emery's side must finish in top-four on the Premier League table this season in order to qualify for the Europe topflight league tournament next season but Torreira believes a big club like Arsenal deserves to be playing in the Champions League.

Under Unai Emery, Arsenal now sit sixth, having been overtaken by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United side, who sit a point ahead, while Chelsea are fourth and three points clear of the Gunners.

"We know it's not going to be easy, that's for sure, because we are up against some great teams such as Chelsea and Manchester United but we need to try and stand firm as a team and battle in every game".

"It can be... at the end, the reason we didn't take the same balance as we have shown at home".

"Imposing ourselves from the first minute, and throughout the 90 minutes, our capacity against them - but first is the mentality".

Sokratis has missed our last two matches against Cardiff City and Manchester City after suffering an ankle injury during our FA Cup defeat to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on 25th January.

Asked on Thursday if a win this weekend was essential, Emery told reporters: "Yes". We are strong at home, but I think we need to do better away.

"But it is hard".

Emery's side have lost three consecutive Premier League away games and failed to win any of their last six on the road and, ahead of Saturday's visit to bottom side Huddersfield, the Spanish coach has insisted Arsenal's problems start in the mind.

"This week for example, we've had good days of training because the feeling of the players and their wish to work every day is good".

"For us as well, away games have been a challenge and each match is a new challenge".

A number even went as far as to call for Emery to be sacked as the 47-year-old faced the largest wave of negativity since his appointment.

"I work over the criticisms of me because I know that work in the present can change our way".
