Resident Evil TV show in the works at Netflix

The new series will shed light on the "inner workings" of the Umbrella Corporation, the corrupt pharmaceutical company that unleashed the T-virus on the world and turned countless humans into zombies. The latest of these was Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in January of 2017. It is expected to include a lot of the signature elements we are used to from the Resident Evil franchise which include action sequences and some Easter eggs. When you come across safes or other locked areas, being observant can help you find their combinations either in the environment or by finding a specific document or clue to help unlock them. It's also worth considering that the Resident Evil 2 remake is quite a technologically demanding title, and it may be hard to get it to run on the Nintendo Switch in its current form.

We've heard whisperings of a reboot that'll take its cues from Resident Evil 7, the terrifying 2017 entry in the game franchise, and Variety reported in December that Constantin Film hired Johannes Roberts to direct.

Would you be open to the idea of a Resident Evil TV series?

YouTube's "Philly Wonken" has shared a video, showing what a remastered version of Resident Evil 2 could look like.

The movies, of course, were loosely based on the Resident Evil Capcom video game series.

Constantin is hoping to start production sometime in 2019 on the reboot, according to a December report from Variety.
