OnePlus 6T specs and official images leaked, launching on 29 October

OnePlus had to push its launch event for its next flagship from a day ahead to October 29 so that it does not clash with Apple's launch event on October 30.

OnePlus is just three days away from its global launch event of OnePlus 6T. It could launch in two memory configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage.

According to the claims from the new leak by Ishan Agarwal, the major difference between the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T are that the 6T has a bigger display, bigger battery pack, and also significantly improved camera quality.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with 8GB RAM posted a maximum of 235,000 points on AnTuTu which is about 60,000 points shy of the OnePlus 6T result. At the front, the smartphone has a 20-megapixel selfie camera with f/1.7 aperture. In the OnePlus 6T live stream you will get to watch online all the price details, specifications, and features that get revealed during the event.

Coming to what's new with the OnePlus 6T, the device will not have a physical fingerprint reader. The company did confirm that a 3.5mm headphone jack will not be included, as this listing claims, while OnePlus also said that a "brand new UI" will roll out with the device.

Executives from T-Mobile USA have confirmed to Reuters that the upcoming OnePlus 6T will be available in the US with the backing of the carrier itself as well as chip-designer Qualcomm. It happens at 11AM New York time, and the phone that's been leaked, rumored, and even hinted by the manufacturer so much in the past weeks is going to finally become official. Though the top and bottom sides can not be seen, the company has stated that there is not going to be a 3.5mm audio jack present. It is expected to start at $579 in the USA and could be available at a starting price of Rs 34,999 or slightly higher in India.

OnePlus' Twitter account is also the place to go if you want to keep up with all the latest announcements.

OnePlus may have worked really hard to develop the OnePlus 6T.
