Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson Split After Whirlwind Engagement

The romance between "Sweetener" singer Ariana Grande and "SNL" performer Pete Davidson has turned sour.

Grande and Davidson began dating this May and announced their engagement after a few weeks of dating.

Per the reports, the pair apparently "still has love" for each other, but things are over - at least for now - from a romantic perspective.

"She is giving him the ring back and has no plans of getting back together with him". The report of her relationship ending comes on the heels of a cancelled performance at a cancer benefit this weekend, where Trevor Noah performed in her place.

Neither have confirmed the breakup on their social media. "And while I was frustrated, being the manager, my wife, being who she always is, just looked at me and she goes, 'She needs this time'".

As of Sunday evening, Grande's Instagram still featured numerous photographs of Davidson.

While she did not perform, Grande still showed up to the taping to be with her then-fiance, Pete Davidson.

Ariana's manager Scooter Braun reportedly told the audience that Grande needed time to "heal". The couple, who have been engaged for four months, have apparently ended it because it's "not the right time for their relationship to take off". Mac died in the first week of September, this year, from a drug overdose. And Grande told British Vogue in May that she was still suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome stemming from the suicide bombing that killed 22 people at her 2017 concert in Manchester, United Kingdom.
