Upcoming Apple Watch to feature always-on display

Upcoming Apple Watch to feature always-on display

It is also presumed third-party developers will have the option to modify their apps so more content appears on the screen of Apple Watch Series 4. Last week, the website reported a few marketing renders of the iPhone Xs as well as the new Apple Watch Series 4. Some devices solved this power drain by the inclusion of a dimmer grayscale mode - which displays only the time and uses less power - when the devices are not being actively used. The report also suggests that the native resolution of the next generation Apple Watch will be 384×480 pixels on the 42mm model.

There's also a good chance the Apple Watch 4 will be revealed at the same time and a recently filed Apple patent reveals plans to make big changes to the smartwatch's screen.

Wearable devices such as the Apple Watch have been gaining in popularity among electronics goods consumers.

It's official, after months of speculation Apple has sent out invites to its annual special event, and they're dated September 12. And it's worth noting that the leak does contradict established rumors about the Cupertino tech giant's upcoming Apple Watch Series 4 models. According to Kuo, the Series 4 will be available in 1.57-inch and 1.78-inch screen sizes. Rambo says Apple will achieve the higher resolution by reducing the bezels and making the screen larger.

Separately, 9to5Mac contributor Guilherme Rambo, who has been digging into the watchOS 5 beta, has discovered references to the Series 4's resolution. Notably, such burn-in statistics can take the form of a high-resolution, multiple-channel image that consumes a considerable amount of storage space within the computing device in which the OLED display is included. Tim Cook and company are expected to announce three new iPhone, updated Apple Watch and iPad Pro at the event.

The larger screen means the watch will be able show much more information. We're fully expecting Apple to lift the lid on the new iPhone XS, and potentially even iPhone XS Plus. This feature has been requested by users of the popular Apple wearable device but the company needs to address two issues before the company can put the feature on the next model of the device.
