Aaron Rodgers put together a performance on one leg many quarterbacks couldn't do with two.

While Aaron Rodgers powered Green Bay's offense to four second-half scoring drives, the Packers' defense put the clamps down on the Bears during the final two quarters to make the come-from-behind 24-23 victory possible. Suffice to say, allowing a 39-yard touchdown to formerly undrafted Geronimo Allison, the Packers' first touchdown Sunday night, and whiffing on the pick fall well below them. He was initially evaluated in the medical tent before being taken back to the locker room on a cart. He stood behind a lectern inside the media auditorium at Lambeau Field - the same place where coach Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers would later describe the miraculous erasure of a 20-point deficit vs. the Chicago Bears - and outlined his mantra for player acquisition that promised to leave no stone unturned.

Two of the teams squared off against one another, and the game in Green Bay between the Bears and Packers is one that will be talked about for a long time. Robertson-Harris was credited with the sack, and the play resulted in Rodgers leaving the game with a knee injury.

Rodgers more than earned that $917,000 in the second half Sunday night at Lambeau Field, showing yet again just how ridiculously good and how indispensable to the Packers he is.

Prior to exiting Sunday's game, Rodgers was 3-for-7 for 13 yards and was sacked twice.

The return of Rodgers somehow turned around what had been shoddy pass protection, which contributed to Rodgers' injury in the first place.

"(I was thinking) something special", he said. "I think we just need to go ahead and keep ramming it and keep playing our style of ball, which is starting fast and physical and keep running over people and I think we have the makings of a great team".

With that in mind, what transpired in Sunday night's game at Lambeau had the National Football League world on edge. Nagy, Mitch Trubisky and that group will have a lot of questions to answer and could've done more to at least avoid a string of three-and-outs that didn't give the defense much time to rest.

The new offense led by Mitchell Trubisky started things off the right way as they debuted a number of different formations over a ten-play, 86 yard drive. There was three separate times late in the game that the Bears had a third down with just a few yards to go, but instead of choosing to run, tried to pass. The Bears offense ground to a self-inflicted halt.

This is the LAST news any fan of the Green Bay Packers - or of handsome, fantastic football - would ever want to hear.

While the dress rehearsal game is excellent regarding seeing what you want to see in Week One, Nagy felt as though between his preparation, and between the joint practices that he saw enough. He went 23-for-35 for 171 yards.
