Epic Have Already Turned Off Fortnite Battle Royale's New Playground Mode

It is possible that game developer Epic Games is battling data miners by switching things up as they leak, and now a final date for the rocket launch has been announced. It looks like that rocket that can be found in the evil lair near Snobby Shores is about to launch in a real-time, one-time-only event that you'll need to make sure you're around in-game to see.

The rocket launch in Fortnite was a highly anticipated event, due to its potential to change the map significantly.

The Playground is basically what it sounds like, a sandbox mode where players can get their bearings by playing around in the world of "Fortnite", without competing in any matches. This weekend would be a great time to roll some of that out as there will likely be an influx of players eager to get some extra XP.

This is different from how the development team handled the comet hitting the island earlier this year.

The rocket looked to reach the sky without incident, however, it soon exploded.

On Thursday reliable Fortnite leakers Two Epic Buddies tweeted details about how Fortnite season 4 will end, revealing more about Leviathan.

Fortnite 50 v 50 Down: Where is Final Fight LTM?

One will be a 50v50 mode where one team controls the big Leviathan and has to escort him to Wailing Woods or Greasy Grove.

Huge footprints that have been spotted on the Battle Royale map have teased that large, monster-like creatures could play a part in Fortnite season 5. While free, there are many opportunities for players to spend money to customize the game with weapons and outfits for their characters.
