JIMMY'S TAKE | The NBA's free agency showdown is set to begin

Now, LeBron's impending free agency has been well chronicled and he faces a deadline Friday to let the Cavs know if he'll opt out.

The picture of free agency is shaping up to be a showdown.

The most interesting man in the National Basketball Association today only has two days left to decide whether to stay in Cleveland or leave The Land, but up to this moment, there seems to be a dearth of information with regards to what LeBron James will do exactly.

LeBron James may head to the Los Angeles Lakers, and if he does, it will likely be with at least one more superstar. In this picture, James #23 of the Cleveland Cavaliers looks on in the first quarter against the Golden State Warriors during Game Four of the 2018 NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 8, 2018.

To this point, their reported focus has fallen on signing George and James, while also pursuing a trade for Leonard. But they will be barred from receiving players in sign-and-trade deals, which means they would need to clear cap space.

James is reportedly already speaking to players he wants to play with next season, seemingly George and Leonard, while recent reports state he is not considering meetings with teams who could pitch him.

ESPN reports that the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers and LA Clippers have made offers to San Antonio for Kawhi.

"I'll tell you what I did hear is that behind the scenes, Kevin Durant was like, 'Why would I do that?" Kevin Durant has informed the Warriors of his intention to opt out as well. I'm the reigning two-time champion.

"This tells me a lot actually".
